Who We Are
An Augusta company with its own trucks and its own phone line
Garden City Dumpsters rents roll-off dumpsters and hauls junk across Augusta and the CSRA, on both sides of the Savannah River. We run five container sizes, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yards, plus a truck and a crew for the jobs nobody wants to lift, and our trucks work Gordon Highway, the Bobby Jones and I-20 every day.
The people on this page are the people you deal with. Paul runs operations and the trucks, John keeps the containers clean and roadworthy, Sara plans every delivery and pickup across Richmond, Columbia and Aiken counties, and Tasha takes your call, sizes the job with you and gives you a flat price before you hang up. When the office is closed the calls still come to us, not to a call center.
We quote one flat price that includes delivery, the rental period, pickup and a disposal weight allowance, and we say so before the truck rolls. We also know the local rules, from Augusta’s right-of-way request through the Traffic Division to North Augusta’s two-hour notice and Aiken’s construction-only street rule, and we tell you what applies to your address before we deliver.
How We Work
Where our loads go
Every load we haul goes to a permitted facility: the Augusta Solid Waste and Recycling Facility on Deans Bridge Road in Blythe for household waste, construction debris and inert material, or the Sample and Son landfill in Grovetown for Columbia County jobs. Material Georgia keeps out of landfills, such as lead-acid batteries, whole tires, liquids, refrigerant appliances and unsealed asbestos, is routed to the right outlet rather than buried; our blog lists them.
